The Ma’rifa Foundation, together with our new sister NGO, the International Foundation for Peaceful Transformation, warmly invites you to our first annual International Day of Peace offerings.
On Sunday, September 21st is the International Day of Peace. As Sufis, we believe that we can contribute to moving the world one tiny step closer to world peace in many different ways.
One way is by working to deepen the inner peace in our own hearts, healing and letting go of what stops us from carrying peace at all times no matter what is happening in the world around us.
Another way is spread the light of world peace is by doing random acts of kindness, amplifying the love in the world which is a core part of peace.
Join our peace challenge starting now!
With these two areas in mind, we invite you to join us this week leading up to September 21st by intentionally spending more time working on your own inner peace (if you want support deepening your inner peace, check out this meditation/dhikr) as well as doing random acts of kindness in the world.

Join our Dhikr for Peace on Sunday, September 21st from 4-5pm ET.
On the International Day of Peace, we join many others in the world who are doing intentional acts of peace by offering a special dhikr, or meditation, for peace led by Yasmine al Hadi. Join us as we work to spread the Divine Light of Peace out to the world by praying together. All faiths are welcome to join.
